Dude, much respect to you, but where are you getting hatred of mothers from, in this thread? That story the OP linked us to isn't an open and shut case of purity versus villainy. The shooting was wrong; but that young woman's life was a tragedy even before she was murdered. Her life was over before she was murdered. There are other things which need to be discussed beyond the easy 'drive bys are bad'. That's not hatred of mothers; that's wanting us to do better as a people so that the real impetus behind these drive-bys can be stopped.

On a micro and parenting level, no I don't. Unlike a lot of people here, I don't blame the women and single mothers for situations like that unless they don't know who the father is. I blame the father of the child if he knows and shuns his responsibility as a man. All due respect to the women and feminists out there, but I believe it takes a man to raise a child.

its not the woman in this situations fault for some nikka bustijn off... but its her choices that create the potential for four kids to be orphaned and one to die in her stomach. It's our decision to focus on the shoooters and not the situations that create the shooters .... that will lead to the next case.

in situations like this i just will focus on the person doing the killing and, if necessary, what conditions formed the mentality of the person that did the killing. not on the dead

I have pride in my people not, in some idea... and not all in myself.

I think that Malcolm X made it a point to address racism, self reliance , and self respect. There aren't really evangelical black Muslims... they promote themselves , not push a religion.

Milton Friedman himself rejected the notions that capitalism can fix all the issues in the world... and he even admitte that in places in asia and Africa capitalism would hurt. He even dikk rode China. And hes a cac who never had a huge interest in the american black situation.

not to mention... capital and freedom, the Book, is as basic and unspecified as a twism post...... dude was simple minded and an idiot who leads people to actually believe that capitalism and freedom are linked, lol..... ironically causing simpletons to buy into their own slavery. For example..

Some how wealth redistribution is only bad when it goes from corporations and the wealthy to the poor and middle classs slaves.
