So I watched 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later last night to refresh my memory, and dayum, both movies are still scary as shyt...28 Weeks Later wasn't as good from start to finish, but it had its moments.

The scene in 28 Weeks Later, when Don kills his wife, is just the moment and look in his eyes when he glimpses at her just before he charges if you listen with headphones or earbuds, the scene is even more gruesome, especially the moment he puts his thumbs in her eyes. The music makes that scene.

They’re not zombies

They’re people infected with a virus that makes them crash out with rage to people who are not infected.

That’s a zombie definition covers them too. They aren’t in control, the virus is. The virus uses the host as a vehicle to bite/scratch and spread itself to continue surviving. It’s how most movie zombie work outside of the empty husks that are under the control of magic.

It’s like our “zombie” bugs that are under the control of a fungus or invasive wasp larvae. Technically Rabies infected are zombies once they start showing symptoms, it’s using its host’s biological systems to force it to do shyt that spreads rabies.

It’s all just a sensationalist version of the “Zombies” we already have.
