Gamestop had the 48-hour return policy. All you had to do was buy the game you wanted, go home and burn it, exchange the game for another, burn it, etc.

man i feel like i missed out on everything.

once i got out of high school(2002) i stopped following the video game scene like that. i just used to automatically get the madden & nba live games at the end of the year based off tradition, along with ncaa football. and i didnt play them much.

ive copped alot of these games in recent years as a form of compensation.

i remember when nfl 2k5 came out and i brushed it off on some "it must be trash and theyre probably on their last leg" type stuff.

it sucked, i had a copy of it for dreamcast.
