They were so concerned about Memphis being a basketball school and Texas was in no way bringing in TCU and Houston which would have validated them and slid some in state talent their way. What's the logic with putting Baylor over OKST? OKST best win was against an undefeated top 10 team. Baylor's best win is against a team that lost 55-0 at home to Oklahoma and they struggled to win that game.
