Killing yourself doesn't mean you have a mental disease. Thats your first lie. I didn't say people who suffer from the chemical imbalance that can cause depression or bipolar disorder or mania are mentally weak or cowardly. I said people who committ suicide. There is some overlap but they are largely diferent.

Nope, a choice to kill yourself is nothing like not surviving treatment for a terminal disease.

Black kids are raised terribly by parents now days, they are raising mentally weak children. The parents are failing their children.

Not smug at all, just not part of the new age of psychiatry, where all behavior is blamed on a disease instead of personal choice.
Suicide is a personal choice that a person makes, they can do it or not do it, there is nothing even for those with depression or mania or who are bipolar that makes them kill themselves.

This generation has to deal with new, pernicious pressures man. They have to engage with social media in order to actuallysocialize. No real escape from internet trolls that either gaslight them or encourage them to kill themselves. Large swathes of the country consider these mass shootingss an acceptable blood letting in order to keep their guns; as if responsible gun control is a zero sum game. I know we rag on this generation a lot, but damn it's gotta be tough .

I was surprised that they mentioned ole girl committed suicide to push forward an agenda, and posted it publicly and widespread. If you guys know anything about suicide is that most newspapers and police have guidelines on how they report the act, so as to not inspire "copycats".

Most people who attempt to kill themselves don’t see a way out from the problems they are currently going thru. If you’ve never been there then you can’t speak on it. Couple that in with people not taking mental health seriously and you have a recipe for disaster

Im from a third world country and was raised in the US in the ends, I know what seeing shootings as a kid did to me but I was unlucky/lucky enough to beeing so young I couldn't really process it.

Being introduced to that shyt in one of the most random, indiscriminate, and inhumane ways possible at an age where I can fully grasp the entire heft of what's happening? Man I don't know.

Watching friends get chopped up at random not off off anything they did or anything they were involved with? Just a random lottery at the hands of a lunatic?

That shyt is different.

And then half the nation makes it a point to belittle and downright insult your situation on every form of media possible? Some even calling you a crisis actor and saying the whole shyt was fake?
