I think we are confusing fame with noteriety and drama and tapping into peoples emotions. Pac had all kinda shyt swirling around him and died in a very Hollywood fashion. He was a huge star but Will had just arrived as an action star in Hollywood after having success in music and TV. If Will had died then its likely not as dramatic and certainly not in line with what he was rapping about so he no he wouldnt get the same post death boost as Pac. Now one thing Will could never compete with Pac on was emotional connection. No debate there.

A lot of people become a bigger deal in death. Nobody knew who Basquiat was when he was alive. 50 became a bigger deal after being shot.

What pac is saying is definitely true. Also tho pac was dusty and young young during those times he was never ugly. Even if he didn’t become rich/famous and just started dressing half decent he was gonna get women as he got older. He just didn’t get the opportunity to see it because once he grew up he was already in the industry. Gotta remember breh was only 25 when he died.
