I'll repost this as its relevant:

"There it is. Thats also what made him so real, gave him global appeal and an influence that stands to this day. People related and still do. Like lemonade.

Easily the most authentic. Pac showed you how it was, in the moment:

2Pacalypse Now was "I'm trying to find my lane in the rap game".
Strictly 4 My Nz screamed "Did you know I hate the police? By the way F the police".
Thug Life intoned "I'm on on now so here are my friends, they deserve some attention and dividends so I'll use my name to shine a light on em".
Me Against The World relayed "I didn't know the price of fame was so expensive. The walls are closing in and the drugs aren't working. Send help".
All Eyez On Me said "Its a celebration bishes! Look at me and my riches, come party with me and brings friends. You're all welcome".
Makaveli growled "I'm alone. Its dark. I've just realized the price of this path and can see the end of the map but have to keep on steppin".

This is what I meant about people only tracing his worst aspects and ignoring the best because that takes skills and strengths they don't possess and push the pen with such realness in a way that still sells, gets spins and sell concerts tickets.

That takes a heck of a lot of talent that the Hennessy and Enemies crowd willingly miss and gloss over to downplay his accomplishments."

Its amazing how raw and authentic his albums were because we wove so much of himself and his own life experience between the papers lines. The paranoia and hopelessness on MATW is almost palpable as its the precursor twin to Makaveli in that respect. Truly one of the greatest artists in any genre to have pushed a pen.

Also, the mixing and mastering on this joint was impeccable and still sounds crisp to this day.

Went double platinum with zero promo. Interscope sent that album out to die and washed their hands of Tupac.

Ended up knocking Bruce Springsteen out the top spot on billboard and was the number one album in America for 4 straight weeks:wow:

He Did all that while he was in jail.

“B…but Pac wasn’t a star before Death Row!”

Pac the goat we have to keep his legacy alive

Corporate killed him worse than the bullets with all the ish they did but his name still rings bells to this day and those who rep, rep because this man has a track for every mood and often they help either keep on keeping on when your back is to the wall or celebrating when you ball or the ever present sipping on Hen as you evade those who aren't friends. Its elementary.

I really hope they make a proper series of his life and adventures as there is so much that happened during his spin. I'm not one for AI but in this case I think its the only thing that could truly do him justice as long as the man behind it pens a strong script and its well directed.

I love this album, Everyone loves it, but most people say it's his best album. I personally like 7 Day Theory better than this
7 day theory > MATW > 2pacalypse now > S4MN > all eyez

i kind of hate all eyez on me. not because its wack or anything but cos it seemed like pac just saying fukk it and getting ignorant... which is understandable. prison broke him and made him crazy.

You could take his catalogue and put it against any other rapper, living or dead, and I'd be willing to bet he has more hits in more lanes than the rest and, best of all, they all sound authentic with none of that forced pandering or fake introspection from someone who prefers gun talk and flipping bricks.

Thats what makes him the best rounded rapper as he had depth to his lyrics and mixed in substance with the ignorance that kept you thinking plus he always spat some real ish.
