Nah.

Dude was born into a family of black militant rebels
disbanded by Cointelpro.

Father absent...step father(Mutulu) on the run for allegedly killing a state trooper...other step father(Legs) worked for notorious gangsta Nicky Barnes...got Afeni addicted to crack and then himself died from a drug overdose.

FED stalking the family and harassing Pac/Afeni for any information about Mutulu, Afeni decided to ditch NY, and move to Baltimore.

While in Baltimore, Pac lived in a house with no furniture or electricity.Afeni talked the Baltimore School Of Arts into giving Pac a chance.

He went there for only one semester.During that time, his classmates would donate him clothes because he didn't have shyt.

Pac's mom got with another crazy nikka who was smoking and the nicca hit her---Pac got into it with dude, so his mom decided to ship him off to Marin City to live with a friend of hers.

Niccaz act like Pac was Carlton Banks from the affluent suburbs of Baltimore.

His story's no different than any other nicca who goes on to become a "thug" or a "gangsta"...Only difference, in the midst of all the madness, he was bright enough to attend an art school for a semester....and half of that was because Afeni had the "gift of gab" and talked them into accepting Pac.

Y'all gone & cook, tho

Both of you talking out your asses. Pac was a rowdy dude when he first hooked up with DU. He was known for getting in fights and starting shyt in Marin.

Know facts before trying to sound like you know what you talking about ..

Let them both rest .. It's okay to like both .. Look at the avi :francis:

Edit : Robinson you seem like a fan .. But you telling me shooting cops in the ass, punching directors plus countless other wild shyt wasn't a gangster image? Cmon man .. When he came to Deathrow it was just the gangster shyt became real. MOB piru bloods and Suge. It came with the territory .. He never acted any different

:snoop:

aint nothing to be ashamed of
he was a good kid that had a great opportunity to go to one of the best prestigious high school in Baltimore
da hell is wrong with that
he just wasnt a street nikka

i dont understand why this offends people
(the facts are the facts - he wasn't about dat life till he came into da industry)

Can we just let the man rest in peace?
I don't like shytting on a dead man, especially one who meant so much to the streets & hiphop in general but sometimes his stans need to be brought down to earth. If they weren't such over zealous fakkits who had no problem shyttin on another dead man for the first 10 years after Pac's death when the myth's went unchallenged then it would be different.

I would say that Pac was disappointed and angry at Biggie, more than him actually blowing up and becoming big in NYC and the entire east coast. They were genuine friends imo and really thought highly of each other artistically.

And yes, there is receipts;

"hes taking Pac's and Sykes shyt and got it all over his album, he didn`t thank pac on the album"

"I heard Biggie`s demo before he was hanging with Pac and it was straight New York shyt....his style was definitely influenced by Pac because he was always around him`" Money B

And both Pac and Big had access to the same producer (easy mo bee) that worked heavily on both albums. In fact, Pac and Big were in fact seeing both of each other a lot during the recording of both albums.

money B is full of shyt
but i totally expect that from him cause he gonna roll & rep his man pac

this is biggie demo
so i dare u or anybody who believes in the bullshyt that biggie copied, stole whatever u wanna call it from pac

this demo
his cadence
his delivery
his flow
his wordplay
sounds exactly like 'ready to die'

breh... like i been telling u for a minute -if every single event that happen between pac & big all up till the beef... without R2D success in notoriety and record sales .... even if it was considered classic material but lack multi plat status ei. Illmatic, 36 Chambers
pac would have never ever ever made that statement

His stans get deeply offended because they've held onto the false idea that Pac was some tough guy revolutionary from the streets..all their praise and admiration of Pac is rooted in him being superman in the streets. Pull the curtains on his crafted thug image and you have little left. The music is decent but nothing earth shattering so you can see why theyll battle till the end to prove pac was something he never was.

I fux with Pac all day...I love the fact that Hip Hop fans have martyred him because it avoided things like what happened to the Black invention called Rock N Roll where Elvis would later be crowned the king. Hip Hop fans has made 2pac the most famous rapper ever and none of Eminimes success can shake that.

But I'm also realistic about his career as it was unfolding....

Keep in mind that 2Pac started beefing with Biggie right after the Million Man March......The MMM put an aura in the air that collectively Black men in America are trying to get this thing right....Then here comes 2Pac making an attempt to destroy Biggies marriage. This was the exact opposite of what the MMM stood for. Then he went and put street beef on wax. Everything Pac was doing for the sake of entertainment while on Death Row was the opposite of what the MMM stood for. The promotion of drugs, Thug Life, beefing with other Blackmen.....The MMM gave the impression of progress...what Pac was doing was like a step backwards. It was as if he was disrespecting his roots. So all the things he did prior to being on Death Row got a pass all day. If You really fukk with Pac then u have to be upset at how he got killed. At some point you have to say...Damn! dude could have avoided going out like that....Thats how I feel. Snoop came out and said Pac got killed because he was involved in gang sh*t. Snoops words.....So if U fukk with Pac then you really have to be upset at that. So me speaking on the things that possibly led to his demise is me just pointing out what I dont like about how he went out.

Like you said...the gangster sh*t became real and look at how it ended for him. There's no way u can be consious and not be upset about that.

You sly, breh.

Ashamed about Pac being a good kid?

That's not even the issue.I don't even know how you could come back with this comment after I hit you with my last post.I summarized his whole childhood.

So growing up without a father, poor, homeless, and with a mom who's addicted to crack is considered a good childhood because he spent a semester at The Baltimore School For The Arts?

Whether he was a good kid or not is strictly your opinion.

And even if he was a good kid, it still wouldn't mean shyt.Good kids turn crazy every day.Life's a bytch.

Most Pac fans understand that he wasn't a "gangsta".He was more radical than he was "gangsta".

Gangstas don't have a patent on being hard or tough.Niccas from all walks of life could "loc up" at any moment.Really, I don't know what you could define Pac as---I just know he wasn't a coward.

All that "gangsta" talk is just deflection.Nobody in this thread is even on that bullshyt. Is their some simple minded Pac stans who think he's a "gangsta"---hell yeah there is.

But that's not the people in this thread. We're knowledgeable Pac fans. We're not coming with that lame shyt, so don't try to play us like that.

That's a cheap tactic, breh

(fuk you for making me actually type that)
Sorry for that playa...no man should be subject to typing trash...my apologies:yeshrug:

And yes that is ultra fruity...but big came from a time where we didn't analyze everything for its gay level...we just took it as a jab at xscape(I remember that line now:wow:)...big was so comfortable with nikkas being dominantly hetero he thought the thought of nikkas thinking he'd do something like that were preposterous(I hope:scusthov:)...in 2015 rappers get the:mjpls: looks heavy for maybe being fruity...no so much back in 95...not my nikka big tho...NOT BIG:damn:
