You know Interscope's business model includes taking viable concepts or beats from demos and reproducing/rewriting them

This dates back to Eazy-E with Ruthless Records and they even had this mentioned on that radio skit

The song has the same sample?

It's kind of like finding a gem in the rough, Tupac may of saw the concept a put a spin on it in the songwriting department. Made it ready for mass consumption and being with his position in the industry and pop culture any viable concept from him would be an immediate success

It's a tough game, dude might of came up with a viable concept with a lot potential . . not to say he executed it well. Some people can have million dollar ideas and minimum wage execution . . regardless there's no claim that can be made on a concept - if Tupac had reiterated specific lyrical melodies or lines than he'd have a case. If Tupac did shark this concept it was probably done with exceptional care to make sure they didn't infringe on the original song's territory

or Tupac may of heard the song, thought about his mom and perhaps over time it just clicked and he had his own experiences with his mother that he was inspired by to get into song . . with the original idea being what sparked his brain to go in that direction . . perhaps just a bit above a subconscious level

A Crip rapper named Kill Kill from Watts dissed Pac back in '95 for allegedly stealing the concept for Dear Mama from a Kill Kill song. Dude says he gave Pac a copy of his tape at a radio station (92.3 The Beat) which featured a song called "Mama Dear"...

Dear Mama came sometime after and Kill Kill released a diss to Pac called "Here We Go".

Once Pac got out of jail, he and dude met face to face at a LA hotel, shook hands, and squashed the whole thing. He and Pac had mutual homies in Watts who mediated. He even released a tribute song to Pac in '98

"Y'all had Martin, Malcolm, Garvey..strong black individuals like that. Us ghetto black males...all we had was 2Pac" :to:

"Pac was a G spiritually and lyrically" :wow:

Does anyone actually believe this shyt? 2pac prolly planned on penning a track about his moms way before this bum ass rapper created that shyt. He made "Papa'z Song" in 1993. If you listen to that 16 on Death Row joint from 1992 by 2pac he starts off each verse saying "Dear Mama..." :camby:

2pac had a talent for getting in some shyt. :pachaha:

Homie made a heartfelt song saying he loved his mother and some crips respond by making a track saying they're going to shoot him for it. :dead:

How dare you say you love your mother! Take it back!:skip:
