i dont know who answered that but there shouldn't be a need to reapply. you're under unemployment for a year. you typically run out of money, or the cap you keep referring to, in 13 weeks(26 in some states), that's how they divvy it up. im assumimg if you're already under, this shyt would be automatic and you'd resume getting checks[this new $600/week thing] after this gets enacted, if it does-- meaning people with exhausted status will now just receive 600 a week for 4 months; your original money is already gone. but that doesn't seem to be clear anywhere. a google search returns a couple results from faq pages from unemployment agencies of various states in which they themselves acknowledge this situation, they just don't know at this time

they need to hurry up with this shyt, i need my chippas 911:feedme:

It's not the two weeks that's the problem. It's that there is no set date for this shyt to end. Businessess survive on cash flow. Once cash is low because business is slow the only thing you can do is start to cut cost. Payroll is usually a small business biggest expense.
Also if there isn't enough work there for employees and no revenue coming in then wtf are you going to use to pay them?

This ain't some esoteric shyt. It's simple math.
You can't burn through your reserve when you don't know when things will end.

For instance, come April 1st I have the following business expenses that are due: 3 mortgages, rent, health insurance, light bill, gas bill, phones, all the little bullshyt operational costs, etc. That Friday is also payday. Then two weeks later another payroll. So the first weeks of April is coming straight out of reserves with very little income coming in to offset the costs. And we're actually one of the lucky ones. Businesses have been folding for atleast a month now and we've been relatively unscathed until this week. Next week will begin the nose dive.
Before the company fails my wife and I will take it back to 2010 when we were solo practitioners and was doing this shyt by ourselves with our office manager.
Whose talking about small businesses.

I'm speaking more on the conditioning and indifference many companies have regarding their employees with this ordeal.

Hopefully them unemployment checks kick in by then or shyt be back to normal.
Thing is though, We gonna have a lot of people take this as “not having to pay rent” and spend their money on other shyt then when June 1st hits and they owe 3-4k its gonna be a wrap. Thats why credit cards fukk up so many people.

Any word on when that extra money kicks in? I’m seeing timetables for the stim checks but none for the unemployment increase.

Information on unemployment has been sparse. I have many questions including how they structured max benefit cap and i cant seem to find answers anywhere. They may have left it up to the states
