I'm not concerned cause she's frugal. Don't really buy anything at all cause everything we need is included in the household budget really.

We're both definitely saving money... looking into.a rental property at some point.

@JT-Money our income ain't crazy, like 150 on the high side...we just live a simple life. You gotta watch what you're spending just as closely as what's coming in.
OP I salute you. You found you a good one that isn't heavily materialistic and y'all live within the means of your income. Then the sky is the limit:salute:

Married always out earn single men always.
Yea but you also don't need the extra dough because you don't have all those mouths to feed. Marriage only hinders your career when you get to the top.

2 incomes makes life so easy

@phcitywarrior ain't it, man?...

I disagree and agree with this thread. No man or woman should depend on each other. But in the case of the black community, we'd be far, far, better off if we stay together after having kids. Two adults making $15/hr is $60k/yr.

Who told you that?
In fact its the opposite!
yea I was half sleep when I wrote that, I definitely meant help. I kinda got teamed up with two partners on a startup and both of them and their spouses have been pushing me to start seriously dating and get married. I absolutely hate the thought of sharing my living space with someone.

I tried seriously dating but the majority of options out there today are just not worth me giving up my freedom. Im debt free and all my expenses are less than $1500 a month I dont need two incomes.

It's not even a thing of being dependent.

The key is that we can both afford the bills on our own. That's why when you add the additional income it's paid off so early in the year.

It's not only making the money. It's being smart with the money as well.
