This is not true. Lol.

But i will say it's been clear Miami is the most physically impressive looking (nh) team across the board. Everyone looks grown.

I’ll bite. What team looks as violent and physical as Miami right now in the remaining field? Georgia is the closest

Everything up to the semis need to be on campus. It was more OSU than Miami fan in Jerry’s World last nite but it sounded dull and not a real CFB game experience in there. That’ll settle a lot of logistics Issues

Just thinking out loud and using that game as example.
That game would have been played in Columbus where it was probably 5-7 degrees at night.
More than half of the students are gone for the holiday break, other local fans think long and hard about being at a night game with ticket prices higher.
Miami fans for sure aren't coming up to Columbus and their band, alumni, etc probably wouldn't either.

The experience would have been 10x worse, for watching a cold sloppy game, not the normal 110,000 you usually have in the "Shoe".

But yeah a lot logistics and LRP(long range planning) needs to happen now to get better results (byes-time off, students experience, etc) by the 2027-28 playoffs.

The prestigious Bowl games take a massive hit if we just treat it like the NFL

Niccas teams caught L's in their bowl games but they're so used to it, all they have is being geeked that somebody else team won :dead:

Some people gotta live vicariously through other teams and play fan police but I'm the one that's a bandwagon fan.

Honestly, I saw bits and pieces of this game. Them edibles had me slapped.

All I gotta say is you can't throw a pick 6 in a game this big. I hate those screen passes anyway. The risk ain't worth the reward. That play maybe goes for 8 yds or goes the other way for 6 pts.

Also, spend some money on the offensive line.

Not gonna even get into my disappointment in the lack of pressure on Beck. This is supposed to be the best defense in the country.

With the expanded playoffs, I'd like to swap out one of those cupcakes in the pre conf schedule for another good team
I was surprised buckeyes didnt heat his ass up.. Kirby not gonna let him sit in pocket and get comfortable..

Yep...and that was my original point a few back before others started to quote me.
The prestige and everything we know about college sports and the college experience is completely gone if they try to make it an NFL style playoff and completely lose all the other stuff that makes college sports great!

Also considering the reason is a weak point of bye teams are 0-5.

Most of these head coaches make 7-10milly plus..you and the staff figure out how to kick start your team.

We have college teams start the season now as "week 0"..meaning only a few are playing and the real opening week is the next week..some teams play a weak non conference opponent in the midst of being 7-8 games into a conference schedule.

Be better at knowing your team and doing your job instead of " us coaches and players were rusty and didn’t want time off"

City of Columbus has a population of almost 930k, with a nice contingent of that being Ohio State grads. Pretty sure attendance wouldn't be an issue. They were just outside for a Rutgers game in November with a temperature of 27 degrees at kickoff. That game drew 100k. Last year, versus the Vols was a sellout with a high of 30 degrees. That cold, sloppy game stuff only matters to folks from warm-weather climates.
