So how do you set up team USA? Will the top tier players look at it as a step down to not make the main team but get selected to the 3 on 3 team?

I expect there will be different players just like there is in futsal/beach soccer compared to regular soccer

I like the idea of competitive 3-on-3 but not at the Olympics, IDK it just seems unnecessary

Maybe if there was a more developed worldwide 3 on 3 circuit already in place ie like Rugby 7s ...

3 on 3 gonna be the equivalent of beach volleyball to indoor. 3 v 3 is throwing the rest of the world a bone...would be a good look to have college players or early career NBA players compete as opposed to the vets/stars on team USA
