Not sure if your being sarcastic, but no this was not the plan at all. It's been stated to death that they had no intentions of pushing him beyond Money in a The a bank of that prior year. The title was supposed to go to Batista at Mania.

Cripple H has been putting out a revised story over the last two years tying to cover his ass since Punk quit of not wanting to work with him and Batista's return failed because Bryan was too over. Of course when Bryan is asked about it, he loves to bring the truth out everytime. They had no plans to make him the main event of WM or even Elimination Chamber the month before. The fans turned on the Royal Rumble PPV and was chanting WE WANT DIVAS during the Cena/Blandy match. They got their mind right quick.

Cena was salty as hell on the Austin show afterwards trying to no sell the fans turning on his match that hard..lol. Little sorry ass bytch

I've never understood how they shyt on people who can make money for them. I don't know any other companies that actively shyt on their employees that can make a profit for them

Because it don't fit their mold. When you have wrestlers that are not larger than life, weigh 300 pounds in steroids, and actually (gasps) a regular joe in which the fans can feel a sort of connection towards, of course the WWE would bury the person. If they can't bury the person, they can easily snipe them (ala Sting). It frustrates me that a company like WWE exists, while WCW is being used as gator skin for Vince's ego.

Sure WCW was no different during their peak, but at least they actually let the wrestlers who were actually over do their thing because they didn't give a fukk.

Eh...I feel that it worked but it was baddddd timing. Especially going into the main event which deflated the crowd a lot. I didn't care for Cena going over Bray which was bullshyt, but what can ya do. Its a Cena match. At least Bray was over as hell throughout the match though.

That's the thing tho. Reigns was already over until that whole Daniel Bryan incident happened. The marks used him as a scapegoat for something he had no hand in.

That's why I don't agree with the Reigns hate because the only reason he gets hated on in the first place is because Daniel Bryan can't be the guy.
