Nah I don’t believe that. In a league thirsty for pitching that Jeff Samardzija is making $20M, there would be a team giving him $25M easily. Yeah, he’s shaky in October, but he still gets you to the playoffs.

Considering the amount of opportunities as well as face plants he has, you can make the argument Kershaw is the worst playoff pitcher of all time. I kinda feel bad for dude, because I think he genuinely wants to win. There's something mental about that pressure though, no way around it.
