what's the truth @Blackking? what should we be showing them?
Don't bother with him breh. He will just shyt on everything you say and require evidence to back up your claim then instantly shoot it down and try to sound pseudo-intelligent. Every single religion thread he jumps in and pretends he's Farrakhan x Jesus.

Really? :usure:

You've made it ABUNDANTLY clear you have no clue what they worship.
are you implying that the majority of african americans praising 'jesus' today, arent doing it because of the history of slavery and the religion that came with it :dwillhuh:

Jesus Christ is the truth. The truth can't be denied...but it can be ignored. Atheists ignore Christ because they aren't comfortable with the requirements of the relationship...but that doesn't make Christ a lie...Atheists would rather look at the negatives that occur in life instead of the totality of life...but that doesn't make Christ a lie...black atheists blame Christ for our mistreatment and our "perceived" lack of progress in this nation instead of looking at the personal decisions many black people have made in their lives individually coupled with the corrupt demonic intentions of an overtly racist system...but that doesn't make Christ a lie...God is about the individual and that relationship requires some effort from you those who can exert that effort receive greatly for it and those who cannot give that effort stay focused on things that simply don't matter. :manny:

According to the 1860 Census, only 1% of African slaves were Christian. It wasn't until they were freed that they started becoming Christians and they made their own Churches.

The religion didn't come with slavery. It came AFTER.

argument doesnt refute natural evil. Platinga's response to natural evil is the existence of malevolent spirits:mjlol:

No, there's nothing about 'evil spirits' in it........

Alvin Plantinga said:
A world containing creatures who are sometimes significantly free (and freely perform more good than evil actions) is more valuable, all else being equal, than a world containing no free creatures at all. Now God can create free creatures, but he cannot cause or determine them to do only what is right. For if he does so, then they are not significantly free after all; they do not do what is right freely. To create creatures capable of moral good, therefore, he must create creatures capable of moral evil; and he cannot leave these creatures free to perform evil and at the same time prevent them from doing so.... The fact that these free creatures sometimes go wrong, however, counts neither against God's omnipotence nor against his goodness; for he could have forestalled the occurrence of moral evil only by excising the possibility of moral good.
