Just a tip to help guys out, if you're unsure of what to say, always go for lighthearted humor or sarcasm.
No humble brag but I've been approaching women for years without butterflies since I was 15 because breaking the ice is truly the easiest part for me due to years or reaffirmation and success.
You naturally build confidence. I have a gf but today I was at the CVS near campus and I saw the girl at the counter.
I didn't see her when I came in but I saw her peeking at me while I was in aisle picking up Nyquil.
She was pretty as all hell.
Long hair down her back. Petetite. About 5'2. Full lips.
Just a pretty girl. I'd never seen her there before so as she was ringing me up, I waited for her to attempt to tear my receipt and hand it to me.
Told her she moved slower than the other employees I was accustomed to.
She grinned from ear to ear and turned beet red and told me she was actually a new hire.
I told her I didn't think she'd be there too long.
Since there was no one behind me, we had a short conversation for about two minutes.
I got her number for the hell of it but didn't save it to my phone for obvious reasons.
It's not really hard breaking ice once you get used to it and playful humor is easily the most efficient way, imo.
Helps to be quick witted but if you make her laugh with something simple, you're two-fourths of the way in there.
