1. It’s too early to make this claim.
2. These are old ports. Most people buying Cyberpunk and the like are double dipping.
3. Nintendo fans buy non-Nintendo games, but they have to perform well. If a publisher gives a half-ass lazy port than the sales will reflect that.

Not my intent, but this thread EXPOSES THE NINTENDO TRUTH that isn't recognized properly because of fanboyism mostly I guess?
I'll break it down...
what kind of performance do you expect from ports of old games. and who is buying a switch for 3rd party. this is not rocket science
What kind of performance do I expect from a new system that cost $500 and markets itself as on par with current gen consoles?
I would expect that :dahell: The fact you're making an excuse for underperforming is making my point. Doesn't the Nintendo chip use nvidia upscaling n shyt? WTF, it can't run Pong with motion blur? GTFOH
That’s why I been making fun of grown ass nikkaz who buy that bullshyt. You got grown ass nikkaz who don’t have kids playing them kiddie ass games and if a third party game does go on it the performance is abysmal compared to a Console or PC. Like you are a straight cooked ass nikka if you grown and playing a game like cyber punk on there. I have no doubt in my mind you smell like a smash brothers tournament stank ass grown Nintendo nikka.

Nintendo is for those rainy days when you wanna sit inside and play Mario Kart, Zelda etc.

If I'm trying to play BG3 or AC Shadows or some shyt, I'm not using Nintendo to do it. I get why devs port shyt over to Switch (huge user base), but it's not worth it.
So now when we inside next to our capable systems, that's when we want to play Mario Kart because that reigns supreme.
What is your friend code by the way, I wanna be friends with you. Will you be my friend? I'm really friendly :youngsabo:
That's how you get friend codes on Nintendo :manny:
They should stop making these games exclusive if they want them to sell :troll:
My body is ready for Grounded 2 Ps5 pro upgrades :banderas:
Folks buy Nintendo systems to play Nintendo games.

Crazy.

:ohhh:
What's crazy is when a popular game sells on nintendo, then people use those sales to justify why everything else on that system is abysmal.
Why does it matter that Nintendo can sometimes make games that sell insanely well and other times they don't and you just keep it moving like it never happened? And then you say "And they bringing over Harry Potter :blessed: "
Tale as old as time...
Then time began for you when the Wii came out? You could argue N64 because devs didn't have to pay as much to make CD based games over cartridges. And nintendo's policies that was not friendly. Think of what Apple is guilty of doing these days in that department? Nintendo was worse
But before that 3rd party went to Nintendo to shine bruh

1.) Its been 2 weeks, if you haven't sold shyt then it is what it is
2.) I'd say they are playing for the first time more so than what you said but either way, you're making excuses :francis:
3.)Sure but that's not the issue now or even in recent history. As most have said, why buy 3rd party games on Nintendo?
If its your only console then that's a reason. Otherwise, couldn't be me. I always find it sad when I see Nintendo threads on 3rd party games.
They be getting excited for throwaway ports like if its a 3rd world country thread :damn:

Switch 2 was never marketed as being on par with PS5/XSX.

They’ve said from the jump performance should be on PS4 levels

I see you Intenduh apolijizzonyalips.. moving goalpost a Wii lil bitty :stop:
Here's what the official spin is on this subject...
The Nintendo Switch 2 is significantly more powerful than the original Switch, with performance roughly on par with an Xbox Series S. It boasts 10 times the graphics performance of the Switch, thanks to a custom Nvidia chip and features like DLSS and ray tracing support. While not as powerful as a PS5 or Xbox Series X, it offers a major step up from the previous generation and bridges the gap with console competitors, especially when docked and outputting to 4K.

Key improvements and features:
    • Improved Graphics:
The Switch 2's Nvidia chip features more CUDA cores (1536 vs 256), higher GPU clock speeds, and more memory bandwidth (102GB/s docked, 68GB/s handheld) compared to the original Switch.
    • Resolution and Frame Rates:
It supports 4K output when docked and can handle frame rates up to 120fps at 1080p in handheld mode, with support for HDR and VRR.
    • DLSS and Ray Tracing:
The Switch 2 utilizes Nvidia's DLSS technology for upscaling and ray tracing, enhancing visuals and realism.
    • Backwards Compatibility:
It maintains compatibility with Nintendo Switch games, though some may require updates for optimal performance.
    • New Features:
It includes features like a larger screen, new Joy-Con controllers with magnetic connectors, a "C" button for chat and audio, and GameChat functionality for voice and video chat.
    • Handheld Powerhouse:
The Switch 2 delivers a substantial performance boost in handheld mode, allowing for smoother gameplay and sharper visuals.
In comparison to other consoles:
I mean, if you feel comfortable towing the line of truth like this :patrice:
Either way, at the end of the day you now get to play Harry Pothead while you stand in line for gas station hotdogs

Its on par with Series S allegedly, clearly positions itself as above last gen but nintendo apologist in unison move the goalpost :wtf:
Why are you guys straight up lying about its power?
I was no expert, all the research says otherwise but keep hope alive I guess
...sales performance. the thing you made the thread about...
Are you on drugs sir? Sales performance isn't even a combination of words used in this thread. Sales is one thing, system performance is another thing and the system is not on par with the PS4, its surpassed it and it has DLSS which makes it even more capable than the level its at
You'd say that for PC, but now you wanna handicap it because... fukk if I know but lets move on...
The renters are tracking sales again :ohlawd:
The renters currently and historically purchase more games per system than they do on the competition so :stop:
How many times can you buy TLOU before you have to hype up and buy another game? They didn't even release a game this entire gen :wow:
What are you dudes buying? $80 Mario Kart? or $70 Indiana Jones? I'll buy Rematch when it leaves, and i'll only have to spend like $20 by then but hey. I'd be salty too if I had to pay $40/$50 just to match your swag :banderas:

Keep in mind that this guy had the leading role in a game that sold new game plus as DLC and never made a video about it.

And he also bought a Switch 2:mjlol:
