CHICAGO

BU BU BUT THEYRE DOING JOBS
THAT NOBODY WANTS.....

Hyundai plant worker pay varies significantly by role and location, but generally starts around $22-$24 per hour for a production worker, with some roles like Assembler at Hyundai Mobis potentially reaching $31-$32 per hour and maintenance positions often starting higher, such as $30.70/hour at the Hyundai Metaplant in Georgia

This doesn't work with process knowledge for advanced manufacturing.

It's the same issue Taiwan had with TSMC in Arizona and Samsung had in Texas. The quality falls off the cliff when the guy who's been doing the job for 10 yyears, is replaced with somebody who's been doing the job for a few months. With manufacturing of proprietary parts in advanced engineering, You have to have foreigners do the work for several years until the local population is trained to the right quality standard.

This isn't like American domestic firms which hire illegal employees to be cheap. It actually costs far more to bring an employee from East Asia, and house/feed them and than it cost to employ a local black person. But only their people have their proprietary knowledge for quality control purposes. And I stress the cost factor, because places like South Korea and Taiwan are fully developed countries with high wages for people in these specialized jobs.

And I'm saying this as a relatively well educated black man with expertise in computer science, computer engineering and electrical engineering. I can say with 100% confidence that I would be useless on their production floor or in their engineering department for at least a year , Because the standards for their firms are radically different. And so is the engineering culture and philosophy.

This vid is on korean/taiwanese manufacturing culture and how it radically gives them a quality advantage over domestic employees. But the same manufacturing/engineering culture is present in their autos.

(Timestampped)
Play it at 2x speed.

Explain why TSMC is being sued for discrimination then?

Exactly.

When people like myself and others, who live in high immigrant populated areas, tried to tell people this shyt is serious, we get called fear mongerers. Or get told to stop using MAGA talking points. Nikkas love to advocate for everyone else but themselves.

These people out here living luxurious as hell, all while not paying taxes and some Black people are really anti-ICE. It baffles the fukk outta me. The rhetoric is always "they just here for a better life", not even realizing most them are living better than me, you, and every other LEGAL American within a matter of like 2 years.
Majority of people always caping for immigrants aren't Black American.

:comeon:SO YOU THINK THEIR AREN'T
AMERICAN CITIZENS WORKING
IN THAT PLANT?

Most of those jobs are on the production floor where they hire through temp agencies which they dont have to pay for benefits and etc. They are not going to replace these people with Americans homie they will just move. I know this because I used to work in warehouses back in the day :why: . Yall can think what you want but they are not hiring legal citizens to replace them.

do they fine these companies that hire illegals?

No not at all. People will also not be mad at those companies either. :ohhh:
This is the game that the anti immigration leaders don't address. If you are an employer, you don't want legislation passed. You want a revolving door.
These red states are ' right to work ', meaning anti union. Employers want cheap labor, just like you want a cheap blow job. Once immigrants have been here a while, their eyes open up and they want " employment packages ". This defeats the plan. So Employers call ICE and get them deported. Now this administration has fu the game. Let's see the next move.

Corporations have been replacing American workers for decades. Because we won't put up with poor working conditions and lower pay. Immigrants will happily work for less without realizing it's a race to the bottom they won't win.

I had a few tell me as much when I worked factory jobs. A few we're smart enough to realize they we're getting used by upper management against American workers. But couldn't speak their mind because the other immigrants at the plant would ostracize them. They don't understand Corporate America is just using them.

Right.

We should have children do it then it could even be cheaper but as long as it gets done at the lowest cost then so be it. :troll:

Oh that's right we have laws prohibiting that. Just like we have laws against illegal immigration. Which is what this is. I like how youre telling me to be specific but you purposely left the "illegal" immigrant part out of it.

So no you don't get to bring in illegal immigrants that work for 1/3 the wage a legal immigrant would and 1/4 the wage an American would all in the name of trying to maximize profit for you and your greedy corporate overlords. Sorry
I'm calling it like it is. This is America. When corporations or companies don't use cheap labor and pay people fair wages the corporation isn't gonna eat that cost. They pass it on to the consumer and try to sell it under the guise of being virtuous. Kia/Hyundai is cheap. The cheapest. They are absolutely going to buy from the lowest bidder every time hands down. Car prices have gotten insane and a cheap Korean car is a lot of people's answer. Folks want cheap cars built by well paid American hands then they're gonna cut a corner somewhere.

I didn't "purposely" leave the illegal part out lol some of these folks are illegal, some are legal. Either way they're not American nor are they part of OUR community whether their visa is good or not :yeshrug:

I'm against illegal immigration but there's a pragmatic part of me that understands why companies are willing to use them so much. Since its inception America has dug its own grave using cheap/slave labor and I don't think most people are ready to truly pay the price for that to change.
