im gonna say that making more black people is definitely more pro black. i think the issue is that people dont want to face the criticism of that. they just want to say date/marry black, a lot of times. I personally don't believe in dating someone because of their skin color but plenty of people do. Because of them, there will be more black people.

again, i disagree with the dating/sex part, but i can totally understand and respect their logic (even though it is rarely reciprocated, meh). Black people have been the target of numerous genocide and sterilization attempts. We still are. Constantly. There is really no point in worrying about black economics or a community if there aren't any 'black' people. One of the main financial issues with our people is GENERATIONAL wealth. Can't really have that without generations.

one more thing, i think being pro-black and ending white supremacy are two different things that occasionally overlap. That's where the divisiveness comes in. While many don't agree, the first tenet of being 'pro-black' should be about black people doing whatever they personally want to do. Unfortunately, that cannot happen. Still, when you're in a world that believes in those 14 words, you can't take it lightly. The procreation pro-black folks are right to feel the way they do. But my dikk doesn't discriminate, nor will I be turning down people I care about because they are not black.

My only issue with any of this is labeling PEOPLE as pro black. I dont think there can be such a thing. ACTIONS are pro black. And each one should be appreciated duly. For example, so many civil rights leaders did very pro black things. However, they may/may not have just done it for money, kickbacks, fame, etc. They did a lot of pro black things, but sometimes without the proper foresight.

lmao, i feel you. that's why when i see that "you can't be pro-black with a non-black mate" i'm like whatever. my non black mate has created more opportunities (and will continue to) for blacks to advance economically and socially than these judgemental fools online have. it's actually an example i plan to learn from instead of writing her off because she's not black.

they're bent on creating an image (whatever that may be, less whites and/or others i assume) of pro blackness versus pro black values.

aren't u non black yourself

Great post

Also, there won't ever be generational wealth without the theme of entrepreneurship and self sufficiency being a part of our culture.....which it isn't.....

Black people don't encourage entrepreneurship.

They encourage the black family (which is good) but they hold it to some standard like it's the only shyt THAT MATTERS

THESE nikkaS WILL APPLAUD A BUM WITH A BLACK WIFE BUT HATE ON THE YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR WHO COULD EMPLOY THEIR CHILDREN IF THE WHITE MAN DENIES THEM OPPORTUNITIES

Black people don't care about combatting white supremacy. We're more than happy accepting our peanuts from the white man that we complain about all day long as long as wifey is black..

Clown shyt

I wouldn't have a problem if entrepreneurship was encouraged... but it's not.....

Cause it's safer to build the white mans empire as long as wifey as black....

fukk building our own empire cause wifey is black right? Haha
Again I don't think you can divorce the two (ha! Made a funny) in the long run. Intrarracial marriage is the norm for the overwhelming majority of most wealthy families. I'm trying to understand how we even get to this mentality of worrying about having to give wealth to outsiders in our community when most non-blks would rather burn their own money than give their legacy to us.

It reeks of some deepset inferiority complexes we must have to operate under this premise. Lol! The fact that we even have to have a conversation that separates blk success from blk marriage when it is a cornerstone for wealth and success in other races (and our own) only solidifies how goofy we look utilizing the opportunities our ancestors died to give us, only to spend that economic wealth on the race of our previous oppressors. I promise you. Not one non-blk is out there "grappling" with this for our community.
