to be fair, some people do. like me. I read the whole thing and ask questions about certain parts, last thing you wanna do is sign some bullshyt.

but if I had a dedicated agent who I was paying a hefty sum Id prolly expect him to do that.

None of those are comparable to a multi-million dollar contract for your skills in a league with a notoriously short average career span.

With that said, I'm sure Brown understood that there were severe penalties for skipping the workouts and knew the amount......in 2009 when he signed the deal.

His agent's gotta remind him ofimportant implications like that. Soon as the season ended, Brown should've been reminded. Especially since this is a contract year for him.

I agree with this too, and I'm not saying that Brown deserves no blame, but that's why his agent got 5% of his contract, to keep him abreast of these stipulations....

I'm salty about getting had for like 120 bucks a couple of years ago.

I'm mad that I spent 80 dollars on cell phone protection 2 years ago only to switch carriers last month.

Look as the agent u sit down wit the 49ers brass and discuss the ends and outs of the contract from bonuses to incentives.. then the 49ers give u the contract where u go give to the player and discuss everything in it.. The agent just took the 49ers word ( GREAT JOB BY THE 49ERS BRASS ) and just ASSUME his player will get this certain amount.

Brown dumbazz was probably sitting on the couch playing madden 13 and said "agent how the contract look " the agent said blah blah blah and brown said cool.. give me a pen and he went back updated his profile on madden.
