Just copped the LG cx, it’ll be here Monday 
Went with the 65” CX the week the PS5 dropped.
Zero regrets.
My nephew and brother in law were convinced that they needed a PS5 after seeing the setup.
Then my brother in law bought a new TV the next day

People say the 900H is good. It’s got HDMI 2.1. I haven’t heard anything about the 800. Look on rtings.com.

just set up my 55 inch sony 900h. havent calibrated it yet but it looks great already. my old 1080p gaming tv died, so i was forced to go ahead and get this now. would have preferred to wait until PS5s were actually available

naw. have it set on a table. i am going to have it do double duty as a gaming tv and a second computer monitor now that i have to work from home. that's also why i went with an LED tv over the CX. i would rather avoid burn in since at least 8 hours a day i have to have pc icons and menus on, otherwise, i think i would have kept the CX in consideration since its 4k/120 mode doesnt need a patch, apparently, and some people are saying their 900h patches havent gone perfectly. i still havent tried to upgrade mine yet so i dont know first hand
Haven't gotten the TV yet. But can't I just keep using a DAC and amp connected from the TV through optical instead of an a/v receiver? Those things are kind of expense and I'm only using 2 speakers anyway.
