I'm pretty sure Jericho will get the blame for this as it's always Dean's fault when his matches aren't that great. I thought I was good though.:ehh:

While it's obvious Jericho has lost a step (that was never more apparent than his Mania match with Styles), I think that match was more than fine. It's biggest issue, beside being paced a little too slow, was that it had to follow not only the Owens/Zayn piff, but the IC match (which, when you take Owens' BRILLIANT work out of it), was sneaky good but came across as flames because the Zayn/Owens shyt being added into it.

True assessment of Jericho, and I think his lack of prime Y2J speed kinda exposed Ambrose's stop-motion athleticism, and how he just seems to always move like he's on a tightrope. There are many wrestlers in history that got the most out of themselves with less (recent history, Cena), and Dean is gonna have to be one of those guys.

Between Raps Game 7 and GOT, only was able to check out a few matches so did Nat/Charlotte to see HitGOAT's appearance, McMahon segment and the Title match.

Pleasantly surprised with AJ/Reigns. It really had that rare old school big guy/little guy feeling.. reminded me alot of Bret/Diesel with the psychology of Bret working the leg. Reigns did what he had to do to make it compelling enough, and I enjoyed the mild heel tactics they had AJ pulling off. Nice drawn out pace. That forearm table spot was great too. AJ did a phenomenal (don't ask me how) job of calling/leading the match.

Was more than certain there would be a dusty finish though, but I prepped myself before hand for the clean J.O.B. lol. Very solid match imo, 4-stars for me even with the 2 re-starts. Maybe even higher because I enjoyed the psychology so much. If Reigns does anything consistent enough it's his selling and grimacing. Surprised no Balor though. Good stuff.

Not a great show but for how it started, it was actually not too bad. Zayn/Owens being on right after the injury really saved the show because people could get invested in their story and the characters. Plus with the injury, they probably got to add a couple minutes to their match which helped add to it. I like that they werent kicking out of finishers. Just a really great match.

Cesaro/Miz was good for what it was. Just a good heel/face match. The fatal 4 way at extreme rules should be fun and I hope they continue on with keeping multiple in the mix for the IC title. I think thats the best way to get titles over is to have multiple wanting it at the same time and it can create a lot of easy matches and storylines that dont run the same 1 on 1 or tag team match into the ground.

Then I pretty much skipped to the main event and was really entertained. I'm not gonna sit and break down every flaw in Romans performance and use that to make AJ Styles seem even greater. AJ Styles is one of the best, we've all known this but Roman Reigns belongs in the ring against those guys and I think he has his best matches with smaller guys. He just needs to add some more power moves to take advantage of his size more but he's really athletic and can take an ass whooping. And if you look at these dudes side by side, why wouldnt it take AJ Styles more finishers than it would another smaller guy? I just think it's funny how people pick and choose when they are going to buy into the disbelief of wrestling. It's ok for Brock Lesnar to throw around the whole roster but it's unbelievable that small/indy guy AJ Styles wouldnt beat Roman with one or two finishers?

It doesn't matter, those chants are lame and it's been about 2-3 years now. They need to let it go and move on because CM Punk never gave a sh_t about his fans in the first place.

At this point, the fans are doing as a troll job to Vince.

They don't really care about Punk. It obviously got a reaction from Vince and that's what was enjoyable.

So both Shane and Steph felt the need to come out and restart the main event, even if they ended for legitimate reasons, but they were cool with the ending of the Charlotte/Natty match:dwillhuh:

One of their refs called the match on some cheating shyt and they were in the back like :manny:

Did the Divas match happen before or after that Vince/Shane/Steph segment?

They didnt care b/c they hadn't formed their union yet :mjlol:

Very good match booking/interference inside, but has their ever been a main event guy both as coddled and booked as badly as Reigns??? All these months later, and it's like they still don't know what his personality is.

Not knocking Roman, but comms say "INCREDIBLE ATHLETICISM" a hundred times during his matches. What does he actually do that's athletic? Has he ever even gone to the top rope? :heh:

If Reigns has incredible athleticism, then what do people like Styles/Zayn/Neville have?
