I sense that we're gonna get a rematch. The controversy is too strong. And I think once the dust settles, Haney is gonna wanna get back in there and erase all doubt. On top of that it was a great fight and a rematch will probably sell very well because of the controversy. One thing Floyd always did was rematch guys who gave him tough fights. Castillo and maidana. Floyd was always prideful in that sense. And I think Haney is gonna eventually do the same with Loma.

I knew halfway through the fight there was gonna be crazy drama. There were just so many close swing rounds early on. At least 4. It could truthfully go either way but the reason it ended up looking bad for Devin is because of his body language and the fact that he was jolted a few times. Devin had amazing body work early but it was still a back and forth fight. Constant momentum shifts. Both guys refused to give an inch. So those couple rounds late where Loma started putting the beats on Devin. That was the first time in the fight you seen one guy start to give. Devin looked befuddled and confused. Like he didn't have any more answers. He kind of unraveled to be honest.

That was the first time in the fight where one guy took complete control and it was Loma. And I think that's why you see the outrage. So 7-5 Haney is actually a respectable scorecard but it's the body language from haney late that really stood out. He let the older smaller man press him and low-key bully him in those later rounds. So personally I think he's gonna wanna get back in there and remove all doubt.

You do realize that being knocked out changes a boxers career forever?

This is not something one should just say matter of factly. He's honestly better off moving up ASAP and hoping Tank can meet him at 140 down the line.

I def want to see the Tank-Haney fight tho.

1.Tank isn't moving to 140.
2. See 1.

maybe no time soon but I'd imagine 1-2 years from now he will.
for what. Tank is Small as shyt and makes 135 easy.

If Devin Moves up he isn't ever gonna fight tank and the 135 landscape will be all roads leading to a Tank vs Shakur showdown, with Shakur being who potentially faces Devin in the future at a higher weight class.

Devin has zero leverage for Tank to care about his existence at 140. Right now Devin is a free agent + undisputed so I'm sure he is going to entertain offers from PBC for a tank fight and TR for a Shakur fight and go with who offers the biggest bag.

He should give Pitbull a look

I thought this video was very telling.

Shakur may have been trolling with his cards, but he def thought Loma won.

Mayweather and Kambosas and Kambosas Dad were the biggest Haney cheerleaders before this fight and both stood on Loma getting washed, and look at them after the fight lol

Linares in all interviews said Haney wins, look at him after the fight

These ain’t Loma haters who don’t know boxing…

Seeing the responses on here reminds me of the first Tyson/Wilder fight with posters calling people c00n for thinking the white fighter won

Not so sure about that. Word going around is that this fight was a success commercially/financially. Did well at the gate, and I suspect it do decent PPV buys.

Tank can do numbers without Haney, but it's looking like Haney can do ok without Tank. Tank is the bigger draw, but a fight with Devin will make him the most money has it stands.

I can see them doing a catchweight fight just like Tank did with Ryan :manny:

Is it top 10 Vegas great or better than expected great? That’s a huge difference.

Tank did huge gates with nobodies as y’all say and that crowd was a Loma crowd not a Haney crowd.

I heard no talk in the streets about the fight except boxing channels.

More folks were concerned prom send offs than that fight plus Memorial Day weekend coming up.
