I had no idea this was coming on Saturday. I know it's a homecoming fight and not to expect too much, but this Canelo, the main event and he can't get a commercial during the nba playoffs or nfl draft? No nothing?

Another world championship will be on the line as Julio Cesar Martinez defends his WBC flyweight title against Panama's Ronal Batista. Martinez is going for five consecutive successful defences of the title he won in Dec. 2019. Additionally, the WBA Inter-Continental super lightweight will be up for grabs as Gabriel Gollaz Valenzuela faces Steve Spark.
Unsurprisingly, Mexican fighters are represented the most on the Guadalajara-based card, with nine domestic fighters scheduled to compete.

This is what I wanted to hear. Canelo was doing way too much. Especially with the golf. His stamina has looked horrendous since he started golfing full time. Golfing everyday is insane even for pro's.
For a while his stamina was looking better than ever. Then from the plant fight on, he just hasn't looked the same. Obviously it could also be age but we'll see. I personally think he just hasn't been letting his body rest enough.
