King Bibby if he stay with this flow and production, One of the few drill dudes that can actually spit. I see a drake collab on the horizon.

You really, honestly, deep down in ya heart believe that this song proves Retch has the "it" factor?

This is a song you can imagine hearing on the radio?

Or this one?

Like...

You turn the radio on, you hear Honest, Some Type of Way, Versace, even Shabba...

And you think one of these Retch songs could be thrown in there?

This is exactly what I'm talking about, y'all are just naming artists you like.

If you honestly believe Retch has the "IT" factor, you are completely out of touch with mainstream hip-hop :manny:

I doubt this dude will blow up given the trash that does blow up, but this some good shyt...bout to check the mixtape out...

I would like to see Le$ get more shine, but it seems like he's comfortable at his level ... that E36 mixtape is one of the best things I've heard all year

The song I've played the most all year :noah:

Hot song. He's a tad generic, tho. As most of the guys in this thread. But he's got potential as long as the production is there.

:dwillhuh:

Sounds like some real NYC shyt... :ahh:

But he's from Jersey... that's just epitomizes the state of NYC rap :rudy:

Got my eye on this guy, tho... Appreciate the heads up... gonna check more for him. He should be the guy people are heralding as the East Coast savior.

:wow: @ some of the trash y'all are posting. And when you say blow, you talking hit single of the moment (trinidad james/migos/rich homie quan) or you talking large following, or you talking kendrick Lamar type year?

Vic is nice, been following him since 2009, but that wave behind chance will probably have him sidelined for most of 2014

I like what I heard from Retch (never heard of dude before this thread) I'd check for him next year :manny:

YG will probably make more noise, I can see him having a few big singles, but he won't sell IMO

Ty$ is definitely gaining traction on the West Coast, but I see him more like a Dom Kennedy, strong UG/mixtape/net following with some dope features here or there

Let me know when ASAP make songs as good as these.

:childplease: you can't be serious, everything on Live.Love A$AP and Long.Live A$AP is better than those tracks you posted that's supposed to be sons best material :dead:

Young Thug is probably going to blow, but A$AP is clearly a better talent why are you comparing them they look alike a little other than that they make very different music.

These are my picks
Joey BADA$$ (Huge underground following, critically acclaimed mixtape 1999, was allegedly pursued by the Roc, co-signed by Nas, on MTV's Artist to Watch, featured on Wild N Out where he embarrassed himself but he is a talented MC only 19, debut album coming in 2014)

Troy Ave (Has gained some buzz, his New York City mixtape was well received especially here on the Coli, co-signed by 50 Cent and Lloyd Banks, 2Chainz feature on his Christmas mixtape, seems like a NYC Meek Mill)

Chance the Rapper (One of the best projects of the year in Acid Rap, has industry plant written all over him, unique style, great beat selection, breath of fresh air compared to the Chicago drill scene)

Rich Homie Quan (Type of Way arguably the banger of the year, he's in that Future lane and he seems more clever than the other ATL rappers, I could definitely see him having a good 2014)

Those are my favorite 4, I could see Lil Bibby and Lil Herb taking over Chiraq, in ATL apart from Young Thug probably Young Scooter, Vince Staples and Ty Dolla $ my picks in the West. Also A$AP Nast or A$AP 12vy may be able to go the Ferg rout and make strong solo stuff outside of A$AP.

Atlantic is behind Ty$ something serious... Idk if he'll blow up or not but he's definitely gonna have a nice push next year unless someone gets fired...

Already getting that push in LA, must have played 2-3 of his records at the Clippers game a few nights ago. DJ Dense is tight with him I guess.
