You act like you had expectations that he would do more dude sold 65k will no prior material out other than a few songs that were on the mob tape. you fooled yourself for thinkin someone who had no mixtape out or nothing would sell well.. your expectations are unrealistic.

I just think those ASAP guys vampired Screwed Up Click, 3-6, Purrp, Bone and Based God's sounds and now they have nothing else to vampire

Thug would be a sped to sign with young money.

And success comes with more than album sales, as trash as I think ferg is that nikka done helped brand ASAP past just rocky. Plus his album was supposed to be a free mixtape and the sales were decent if u keep that in mind plus he is a new artist with no major promo. Rocky is gonna be rocky why do he need to reinvent himself??? He's already shown progression in his style. That nikka gone only get better

Show me where Rocky showed him evolving past his old sound? I'm not saying he can't but I don't believe that he can because he is best at emulating rather than creating his own style. Thug can do both which is why I'm more convinced he can stick longer.


I mean anyone signing to labels these days outside of just distribution is kind of slow but they all want to cash out for that multimillion dollar advance.

Not necessarily.. but I think there will be more of a balance back rather than the radio mostly being all trap sounding music.

And to be honest.. I don't think just cause someones song is all over the radio and shyt means they "blew up" or will blow up

Is Young Thug signed? If not, he should stay unsigned.. not cause hes horrible or nothing, but because whatever label hes signed to prob won't do him justice. he should stick to building his buzz and gaining a real dedicated following.

I wouldn't say the radio decides who blows up, but I'd say you should be on the radio to be considered "blown up."

Insane Clown Posse has one of the largest, most loyal fanbases in the world, but I wouldn't say they blew up.

Blowing up is about mainstream success. It's not about having a loyal fanbase.

I never said he evolved. I said he showed progression with the style he already has. If u listen to his album he incorporated different styles
