Nearly half the agency's budget now comes from 'user fees' paid by companies seeking approval for medical devices or drugs

I’m more likely to hear about a small-time weed dealer getting busted than the fact that Medical drugs generates more income than the combined GDP of several small countries.

So you remember a few years ago when we talked about how some music labels will “shelve” music from artists that might be competition to the artist they are trying to promote right?
Well apparently major drug companies “shelve” patents and drug cures due to potential threat to drugs they make as well.
So we potentially have so many cures to shyt out there (just like good music is out there) that might never see the light of day…
This shyt is so sick. No pun intended.
This shyt is crazy! And then they get a money making drug and try to extent approval for the patent to avoid generics being made, or they shelf other cures to keep their product relevant-even if it’s dangerous!

i can't seem to convince coli brehs they not supposed to live on a cocktail of subscription drugs.
it's nikkaz on here who are taking medicine for life to keep a hairline... medicine that will give them other side effects but as long as they got that hairline who care right? now amplify that type of thinking into so many areas people medicated constantly for different things and the last 100 years doctors got people thinking it was normal to live with a medicine cabinet full of shyt.
I know doctors who work in mental health and they are incentivized to give patients new drugs and use them for trials and they will give their patients discounts on treatment if they are willing to try new medicine then keep rotating them between one to another "trying to find the right fit"
I seen this cycle personally and it happens with other types of doctors as well.
