I feel the same way. New york rappers are actually finding their sound and it's great. Dudes like 50 have to catch up with the times or just call it quits. These beats are weak and the hooks have been shyt.

Banks is younger than 50.. i get that.. but his shyt got that 00's feel to it but it dont sound STRAIGHT outta the 00's. it got some what of a modern feel to it.

Nope. Alchemist is making dope boom bap shyt that doesn't sound dated. Many of Roc Marci's beats knock without sounding dated. Harry Fraud is overrated but has a few nice NY sounding records that don't sound old.

This nikka crooning hooks like it's 2003 again, over generic beats. Where's the market for this shyt?
