50 Cent Is Dropping 1.6 Million on Mayweather

50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather have a strange relationship. For a while they were friends and potential business partners, but then both of them went off the rails to try and tear down the other one. Remember 50 Cent saying that Floyd couldn't read? That was fun. Nowadays though, 50 believes that he can make some money off of Mayweather when he faces off with Manny Pacquiao on May 2nd.

In a recent interview on The Breakfast Club on New York's Power 105.1, Mr. Jackson nonchalantly stated that he'll bet around 1.6 million dollars on Floyd to win the fight:

50: I got champ, champ gonna smoke him. It's gonna look like it [the fight] was pumped up for no reason.

Charlamagne: You gonna bet?

50: Probably like 1.6.

....

50: I've been thinking this out. I've gotta make a real bet. He focused right now.

He also said that he recently spoke to Mayweather in Barclays Center, something they haven't done since all the mud-slinging began.

Meanwhile, Mike Tyson told TMZ that he favors Pacquiao in the bout, but isn't making a bet on it for a pretty good reason:

"I don't have no money!"

Ol' boy went from (publicly) saying, "Floyd is scared of Manny," to betting 1.6 on the dude? Recently, he said something along the lines of, "I might be in the ring that night (May 2). I ran into Floyd in NY not too long ago and we talked things out. We have a big bro/lil' bro relationship." That was his response when asked if he'd be escorting Mayweather to the ring on May 2.

Well, let me rephrase my comment. I don't hate 50, but I hate some of his character traits. He's the type of dude that'll smile in your face, but talk bad about you behind your back. I respect people who don't hold their tongue, but 50 is a different animal. By female tendencies, I mean he gossips a lot...like a bytch. When he speaks with no filter, he sounds like an immature kid. I hate that! As far as me knowing him personally goes, him and I don't have a personal relationship, but I've met him (in passing) once or twice. The experience was decent.
