Wrong. It's Beats By Dre, not Beats By Jimmy Iovine for a reason. With out the name of Dr Dre and his reputation for 'hearing' talent and the right beats no one would pay 300 bucks for some colored generic ass head phones. All Jimmy did was stand inbetween Dre and Monster the audio company.
50's money came from investing in a local Queens company. He didn't build vitamin water. Dre was active in Beats.
