Between 03-07… I’ve never seen a rapper put the game in a chokehold like him. Yes, bigger than 2Pac and Biggie when they were alive. He was ubiquitous.

I can’t count Eminem because he appealed more to the “new to rap” CACs. Same with MC Hammer, he pretty much went pop.

50 was inescapable during his run. We’ll never see anything like that again. Literally everywhere in the world, people were shouting “G-G-G-Unit!” It was crazy to witness.

He has enough songs to bring the house down..

This how I'm coming out or closing with them white folks.
Bass boost and a live bassist for a little more meat on that bassline.

What up gangsta pt 2? Its over

This also describes 50. I don’t know any black 50 cent fans.
Stop. 50 had the streets on lock with his mixtapes. He had the pop fanbase via Em. The gangsta rap crowd via Dr Dre. And he had the female audience as well. He covered every base possible, it was impossible for him to fail.

I saw literally every demographic you can think of lining up to get GRODT and The Massacre. Standing in line for hours. From hood brehs, to soccer moms, to Wall Street types. It was insane.

I wasn’t alive during Thriller but I could imagine 50 was the HipHop version of that. 50 was worldwide on virtually every station.
