And why shouldn't "A Milli" be on there? I don't particularly like the instrumental alone, but that was a moment. All kinds freestyles, producers making their own versions, and even Beyonce had Bangladesh give her two beats that sounded like "A Milli" with "Diva" and "Video Phone".

I would've had Kast's "Elevators" on the list just for that snare alone. There's a few from Whodini like "Friends" or "Five Minutes of Funk". Another one is Rob Base and EZ Rock's "It Takes Two". Audio Two's "Top Billin", Lyte's "Paper Thin", Run DMC's "Peter Piper", 50 Cent's "In Da Club"

I expected the list to be bad, but wow. Some of these beats being considered the best don't belong anywhere near that list.

I don't agree with some of the choices or the order of it but :yeshrug:

I find myself saying this about literally every list I've ever seen. This one's not the most ridiculous one ever, I just wouldn't make the same one. I've seen some totally incredulous lists that feel like they were made for controversy's sake. This one is tame by comparison. People ain't gonna agree, 100% with it but no one ever does. If I ever see a list where everyone is like "this is totally on point and I co-sign every single one of these choices and placements", I'll be surprised. It is what it is.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Nah, this list is pretty on point. Do I agree with ecery song and placement? No, buy The Booth gone Booth and I would like to see other lists. Most of these beats are definitely iconic and beats that were game changers, spawned a bunch of freestyles, had a bunch of clones, and are easily recognizable as soon as the first note drops.
List is dirt. Lol.
