Lists like this are all subjective. Doing sports lists, at least you have a winner and loser in those, so you can go by that even if you think a certain athlete has an ugly style that you dislike. But with music, it is all about personal taste.

For instance, I was never especially big on ‘Who Shot Ya’, which they have #3. I like the majority of songs and beats on Ready to Die more than that song. I’m sure higher on Nuthin But a G Thang and that Leon Haywood sample than I am of Still DRE, which they have at the top.

Most people outside of the South would vehemently disagree with this. I could easily list 50 better than these two, but you’d disagree because we don’t have the same ear for post 96 Southern production (I assume).

I agree that it’s going to be subjective. People have regional preferences. That being said, if we got everyone here to do a list, it would be interesting to see the small number of songs that were on a majority of lists. That would tell us something. Assuming we had a broad spectrum of age and region participating.
