A lot of truth in this thread... also, don't overlook the the current state of the economy and capitalism.. The people who have the resources to truly date are busy trying to retain their spot on food chain.. The thing is, you can't just get a job and coast anymore, there's like 20 hungrier yous trying to take your spot and companies use this as leverage to keep you on your toes. That's why they let go Robert last year with no reason to fill his position because they got you taking on some(most?) of his workload.. now your 40hr weeks are now 50hr weeks and you're salary so there's no overtime compensation.. so effectively you just took a smooth paycut..

If you're in tech it's even worse, yeah those 6 certs got you 6 figures, but lesbianest.. How much time did you put in off the clock to get there? And you know the second you stop learning new shyt and keep up with tech trends the value of your skillset takes a hit..

After putting in all this work you're now a bit more tight with your resources/time.. do you really feel like paying $100 for dinner with a chick that might be wack and/or not let you smash? You just caught a lytf to the crib, got food delivered via ubereats, the next app over is tinder and both of you looking for the same thing.. so why not?

Another key point is that men and women are now rivals in the workplace fighting over the same territory, so she's putting in just as much work as you at her job trying to get this promotion so she can get her bread up so she can maintain her current lifestyle too.. contrast this to just over a half century ago where a single income could survive a family of 4, you now need double the time requirement to maintain a family of 3..

All of this will come to a head at some point in the future, but for now it's just the way the game is :manny:

The dude in the vid explains it well.

Everybody is just selfish these days and wants to have their fun. When women decide they want to have their kids at 35, men don't really want to anymore.

If they've already got kids, then less men are willing to settle down with single women these days.

Hookup culture and Social media play a big part in it too and the biggest factor of all, the economy.

I've heard a few people mention this but I dont see it...I hear women complain about this the most dudes just looking for the hook up irl and especially on apps where they supposedly go down the most...even though yeah you should take what they say with a grain of salt lolll
But there are so many pent up and socially awkward people who are afraid of hearing the honest truth...I don't see it, it would actually be good if people where actually fukking.....

There was just a thread on here about men having less sex and women being about the same.

Women are fukking they just fukking the same dude.

Every chick on Tinder talking about "I don't have time for games" was a willing participant of the hookup culture but the clock is ticking and now it's time for marriage.

As someone that has spent most of their 20’s in relationships whilst working in a profession where working 50+ hours a week is normal, I’m good on seriously dating now that I’m single at 27 :hubie:

There’s nothing worse than trying to open up to your woman about being stressed about work/life/etc and she doesn’t know how to be supportive because she’s too busy comparing your relationship to her friends and she’s mad at you because you’re not married yet after a year :heh:

Since the pandemic, I’ve caught up on video games I never got to play and my diet and work out routine is the best it’s been since I was single in university. I’m in no rush for anything serious.

this right here.

the move right now is having your own spot, doing you and if you want some ass you tap into the chicks you’ve already pre-approved and keep it moving. This being boo’d up for sake of whatever is just insane and the pandemic prolly got these relationship/married folk ready to jump out of a window.

fukk all of that. A little Piece of mind and autonomy is worth more than the price of a gram of gold these days.

Bring on the PS5 and iPhone 12

I hear you but its sad its got like this where people would just rather be alone and do their own thing now :wow: males and females really not fukking with each other no more.

Part of the reason I broke off my 7 year relationship was because I wanted a double bed to myself and I wanted to be able to wake up and fart as much as I want and not worry about being curteous around someone else. Whats wrong with us? :mjlol:

I've never had a gf before and I want one, but the thought of having to think about another person when I've been so used to doing whatever I want whenever I want just doesn't seem appealing.

This.
And another factor that people really dont think about, is compatibility. And i dont mean "oh we both like Crossfit and are christians :smugfavre:", I mean "Does this person fit your day to day life, goals, income, education level, place/area of residence., etc"

For a lot of people, in the current day and age this is a bigger issue than youd think. I find most people marry when they are at their most static, if not stagnant, point in life. Im from Kentucky and most people married are cacs who are happy with their 50k a year jobs and their 150k home. Theyre done with finding a career and done with dating.

For people who are apart of the Corporate Professional Class, youre never static, so even slowing down enough to meet someone is difficult, much less someone who you like and would even be compatible dating/marrying someone who is constantly on the go.

I like casually dating

No stress no commitment and I can do what I want to and feel zero guilt if I don’t feel like talking to you.

relationships equal up and downs and fights and unnecessary stress and drama
You don't ever get tired of going through the motions of replacing chick after chick in the roster once she starts bugging you about wanting a relationship?

Africa's population is still booming and developing. European populations halving within decades. Time for a black world again :blessed:

Problem is, what would planet Earth be like, by then? :francis:

Cause Climate Change is going to crush the buildings.

Unregulated workforce is the death of a quality life and the end of basic relations. People working longer hours for less pay, and even STEM is still not secure. We need Basic Income and a FDR overhaul of,regulations.
