Ja Rule has one of the best voices / mic presences
/ deliveries in hip-hop history to me.

Not saying I've listened to alot of Ja's music outside of his singles but I prefer Ja by far.

Never cared for 50 even at his peak.

I never brought in to the hype.

Scopes determine this. I think 50 is the better rapper in terms of artistry, but Ja is far better than 50 when it comes to pop-oriented stuff. In fact, this lack of repetitive success in a pop focus is what killed 50's career in his never-ending hit chase.

As a rap artist, I say 50. Beyond that, its def Ja Rule.

50's music was "harder" but Ja made better music overall. People from babies to senior citizens liked Ja's music. 50, not so much. Ja has straight up classics that get played at cookouts and parties and shyt til this day. Many Men, In Da Club and...shyt I can't even think of anything else that people really still play. I'll listen to Get In My Car and Bloodhound every now and then
