I used to go visit my mother's youngest sister in the projects..we all did..they would BBQ out there...I heard some gun shots right next to that window..I dropped like a sack of bricks...lol. 4th of July and New Years..shooting would go on for awhile at all kind of spots too.

So now Coli Brehs grew up in the roughest hoods in the country hearing gunshots and eating Raman every night but got out, got those six certs and now living in luxury condos

It’s bragging rights if your parents was fukked financially but you are the ultimate object of mockery if you can’t hoist yourself out of that same poverty your parents couldn’t escape despite the fact that older generations often had more opportunities. America has an unhealthy obsession with getting it out the mud.

I grew up on Randolph Street, Lakeview district in San Francisco in the 80’s and early 90’s... if you know you know... where this type of fukk shyt was regular. But no, I would never live in a hood like that today for any amount of money. nikkas be wearing their childhood like a security blanket. Your childhood don’t make you bulletproof bruh.
