52 Week Money Challenge

already got first dollar in. gonna start on Sundays so I'll have set day each week. got two all set for this Sunday. some mentioned just putting all the money in one time but it's not just about that. this is about discipline and staying focused on your goal. can't miss any weeks.

Anybody still keeping up with this? I been mixing it up and not going in order but still going strong. Haven't done much of the big amounts yet but been saving regardless. threw some pieces of paper into a hat and just pick one out every week and use that amount. to sort of switch it up a bit.

I also put away something every paycheck. transfer it over to my high interest online savings. the money from this challenge I just get in cash and store it away. I'm already saving 175 a check so this just extra emergency fund build up.

I made a spreadsheet in Excel that helps you play with the numbers to save even more. Instead of doing an increment of $1 a week like this table you can try $3 or any other number to estimate how much you'd have to put away each week/month/quarter.

I did an increment of $3 last year and saved quite a bit after 8 months. Let me know if you guys want a copy
