is this serious? LT obvious choice here..hes arguably top 3 greatest RBs of all time for some people top 5 without question but do we really consider him this generation? I feel like hes a generation before these guys (his peak was going downhill when a lot of these guys were either just hitting their peak)

and how did Chris Johnson end up on this list

It's really a two player roll.

Tomlinson and Peterson entered the league about five or six year apart, but their "eras" were definitely different in terms of one being more run oriented. You can make an argument for Peterson having the better "peak" as a rusher, but you have to take L.T. if we're talking about overall career.

However, no NFL player in recent memory was a bigger chump and whiner come playoff time than Tomlinson.



Edit: Just re-read the OP. If you're talking about 2008 and beyond, it's Peterson as L.T. was most dominant before 2008..........

ehhh, he was a product of the system and was a trash Playoff back.

Tomlinson shouldn't be on that list. He was at the end of his career around 2008, I'd say Peterson but a argument can be made for Gore.
