Ok @Silkk i got some problems with this show.

First of all what annoyed me most. Kevin fukking Sullivan?! Really? As if this match wasnt :flabbynsick: enough? Fight was decent though.

The disrespect and downcline of Moose is astounding to me. Dude is a legit beast but he was nothing more than a superkick target that match.

Kimatachi remains :ehh: to me. I hope he joins Los Ingobernables when he returns to Japan. But i dont see how he fits with The Addiction.

Here is probably the biggest problem though (i read the spoiler to the tv taping but Ill leave that part out for now), I dont think ROH knows what to do with Jay Lethal from here on out. He seems to not have an equal and that makes just about every title defense a foregone conclusion. I thought a double turn for Briscoe and Lethal was in order especially with a returning Truth Martini guiding Briscoe but it was not to be. I really hope they can find Lethal a worthy challenger to drop the belt to and its not someone he has already beaten unless its Kyle O'Reilly.
Havent watched yet

Yeah but they gave up on Moose a year ago. Im not sure why. Moose could have made the next big face before turning face himself.

they just had him wrestling okada a couple ppvs ago, with okada giving him the cosign at the end.

It looks like it's going to be Cole, which is strange since his contract's supposed to be up next April. Think they'll have him win it?

As others have noted, it could have been Moose, but they seemed to have cooled him down since it became apparent that he was going to go to WWE. ROH has tended to do that with guys as of late; they did it with Tommaso Ciampa, Cedric Alexander didn't even get a real shot to become something other than midcard fodder, who knows what they're doing with ACH, etc. I'm not saying that all of these guys were World Title material, I'm saying that it seems like z lot of guys don't even get the chance to really show their stuff at that level nowadays. It's strange, and it results in situations like this one, where the World Champion ends up without credible challengers because they've been kneecapped by booking in some way.

Not sure what ROH thinks they've been doing to build title challengers over the last 2 years or so, to be honest...

Moose is still green and has hordes of developing to do.
He is lucky to be in roh being that workrate deficient.

He pretty much has to but what happens after? Does a ROH guy join Chaos to combat him? If so who do you have as a credible challenger?

They have a pretty good talent roster especially with Lio Rush who seems to be the next indy "it guy". But yes ever since 2013 theyve been kneecapping guys left and right. Thomasso Ciampa had next and was hot after his face turn and return from injury and it amounted to a 2 month TV title run. He caught fire again at the end when he beat up the referee but they put it out before anyone had a chance to really get on board. Cedric Alexander is an out and out travesty that is WELL documented. They managed to do right by Bobby Fish, Dalton Castle, Adam Page and Silas Young but most everyone else not established yet are spinning wheels.

I agree but the fact is that he was there and they signed him so they obviously chose to invest in him at some point. War Machine isnt all that great either but they at least kept with it.

it pretty much looks like hes next in line. how long he keeps it, depends on if he re-ups.

then o'reilly is next up.

I think its pretty much a foregone that O'reilly will eventually get the belt. I thought he had won it when Alvarez was teasing big spoilers from the tapings. He's a great wrestler but i don't feel like he's "hot" enough for it, at least not right now.

As for Jay Lethal, they haven't done a great job putting him vs strong opponents aside from Jay Briscoe & AJ.

Had he went over vs guys like Okada, Nakamura, Omega, etc instead of just tagging vs them to keep them looking strong he'd be much hotter/legit.

Problem with taking the belt off of Jay Lethal right now id therr is no one on the rise that's hot(except Dalton) so if they do it they'd just be doing it just to do it

This would be my exact problem. They are in for a major cooldown period after Lethal drops it and i dont thibk this current incarnation of the bullet club is enough to salvage it. Maybe theyll throw a Joe/Aries like curve ball and a midcarder will win it randomly

Imo they need to do what it takes to bring Cody in and give him a Christian Cage/TNA like push
