Also there is a Smackdown on Friday in Saudi. It would take an ungodly # of miracles to happen to smoothly pull off moving both shows to even a US arena/locality with a very friendly relationship with WWE, much less a European one.
No it wouldn't. We saw them do this on short notice before when the Lakers/Nuggets series forced their move on a few days notice and they're a MUCH bigger/hotter company now.

Just because they did it before doesn’t mean it didn’t take pulling off some miracles.

We also saw it during Covid.

Just like with AEW. If anything ever happened on short notice they always have a place to go. I may be wrong but I think WWE even owns fullsail now?

There's also the fact with the NBA and NHL seasons being over, arenas are more fluid with availability. Really just up to what arena can host something on short notice without it interrupting previously scheduled tours.

As the Coli Breh living in the Gulf, heres the deal with all the airstrikes and closed airspaces and flights

Today was basically lovetaps on Qatar and the general consensus is that Iran will announce beforehand all strikes because they have better relations than before with the arab countries but obviously they gotta do something after the US attacked. They announced the strikes that happen just now and Qatar counterstrike blocked them and it appears no damage happened. UAE, Saudi etc are at risk if Iran announces again.

Interestingly enough for the UAE, their US bases are in Abu Dhabi and Dave Chapelle gotta show out there in the city on Friday lol Seems like its still going through too. Theres no real panic on here just checking if flights are cancelled.

Yesterday it was announce some airlines from the US and UK were not gonna fly to Saudi, Dubai, Qatar, Jordan etc for the time being and today with the Qatar strikes all flights and airspace in those countries were halted.

But we were told its business as usual tomorrow and everyhing opens. Meltzer mentioned just now on twitter that the ring set up crew is already in the air so it looks like its going ahead. Private Government contract airplanes (which WWE would likely be taking) are still allowed to fly and there is a route to get to Riyadh to avoid the areas where the bases are or any crossfire between Israel and Iran would happen (Basically once you get out of Europe through Turkey, go southwest along the red sea and cross through southern Saudi and avoid the north part where all the shyt might happen and the northeast with the bases)

Iran dont really wanna do this but they gotta. So they'll advance warn UAE and Saudi if they go after them next.

Right now expect the show to happen but I would say it all depends on tonight and tomorrow and more airstrike annoucements happening.

I've gotta go to Saudi in the week for a work meeting but Im hoping I get told its cancelled when I get into work tomorrow :pachaha:

(Although If Im going, Im gonna be in the city the night of the event an these tickets are like just $20 so Im trying to see if homie from work wants to go. Still a few left :mjlol:)
Thanks for this update and stay safe.

DGAF peaked WWE right there bowy.

  • The marks were behind the computer screen and not near the ring
  • Underrated matches
  • fukkery by the kilos
Probably the final stand for the TSC to appreciate the business before everything went to shyt with corporate greed, stan wars, and computer chair shareholders.

Not sure about who owns that, wouldn’t make much sense to own it when they have the PC unless they’ve made it their designated facility for studio content. But I think they have that elsewhere.

Going to a place they own would be a lot easier, but they’d be throwing away money putting it somewhere they own.

But I don’t see them moving this out of Saudi unless shyt hits the fan in that country.

Summers aren’t exactly what I’d call off seasons for arenas either. I’m sure there’s one that doesn’t have anything going on this weekend.
