So they're attempting to craft some bad policy based on clearly flawed data mixed with xenophobic fears?
There is still a gap between needed STEM workers here in the US, and STEM jobs/positions.
Jeff Sessions is an idiot, he's going to cut off immigration that favours the US' STEM industries :snoop:
U must not be living in America

Cause no way a us born citizen would favor these fukking visa to import people in to take jobs that could go to actual Americans

What most people don't understand is the whole visa system is being scammed by almost everyone. This one you have teachers from Turkey gaming the system.

Its weird seeing liberals suddenly become pro corporation and anti worker. Almost a complete 180° from the 90s. People rep political parties like gangs.

If Trump came out publically against eating babies, democrats would start posting articles about the nutritional benefits of child meat and vice versa. Its sickening

Liberals were probably only against it because Corporations weren't giving them campaign contributions at the time. You can't trust Republicans or Democrats they're for sale to the highest bidder.

Trump promising to expose h1b visa fraud and outsourcing is a completely different position than both Political parties so I ain't mad at him. I looked up these old videos on Youtube about NAFTA and found out Ross Perot was warning about this stuff since the 90's.

I think there are enough capable people here in the US to do these jobs, companies just have so much more choice with these H1Bs as evidenced by the nonexistent market for Junior Developers. And any company who usually ships development overseas brings it right back here after some time when they get burned.

shyts crazy, even talk of tax cuts suddenly has Dems worried about deficits, which is usually a Republican talking point.:stopitslime:

How about some damn principles and not just being against whatever the other side is fukking for:francis:

They will just offshore more jobs with a skeleton crew here of the creative team here in the U.S. to lead a mojority proportion offshored workers. The only real solution is to start consulting and get your own piece of the pie and cut out as many middle layers as possible.

Once they steal your company's secrets they use that info to start their own companies and compete against you. There are tons of American companies this has happened too already.

This shyt happens with patents all the time and inventors/companies come to the Patent Office looking for help. There is jack shyt we can do but to tell these folks to lawyer up.

Fearing tighter US visa regime, Indian IT firms rush to hire

Anticipating a more protectionist US technology visa programme under a Donald Trump administration, India's USD 150 billion IT services sector will speed up acquisitions in the United States and recruit more heavily from college campuses there.

Some times they not homie. Kat I knew was on a H-1B was put up in a hotel and making like 30k which was slightly more than he was making in his home country.

That is some times the hustle with those visas they can pay these folks chump change compared to US kats.

The whole not enough engineers and tech folks montra that the US companies spit is just to get lower wage workers overseas. We got tons of young folks graduating in these fields and other fields. These companies know they can pay an engineer 25k in india than pay some kat 50 to 60k here in the US.

Remeber it is the overhead that costs the most......not the material or even the shipping cost. The workers that put the shyt together, or design it or program it is what costs the most. You cut labor costs you make the biggest increase in profit.

If we could go back to the 1910s when there was no unions, no equal pay for a days work and they could pay people nothing. These companies would be hiring Americans left and right and move those jobs from overseas to here.
I'm interested in programming or IT but after reading this. wtf do I do?
