He outplayed Gabriel in preseason. You're shamless still trying to pretend Shadeur hasn't been sabotaged.
I didn't watch Gabriel a lot in college, but anytime I did watch him, I wasn't too impressed. I'm not even saying he's better than Shadeur, but this entire narrative about Shaduer being sabotaged makes no sense.
1. How is he being sabotaged?
2. Why would the organization sabotage him? Are you saying it's the coach, owner, or GM? A combination of them? All three?
Did you ever think maybe the sabotage you claim is being done has been from none other than Shadeur? The one that told the Ravens not to draft him? The one that had some pre-draft and draft day concerns that seem to likely have more validity now? I'm not saying everything negative or critical of him around the draft is accurate, but after hearing that he told the Ravens not to draft him, some of those incidents seem to have more legs to them.
At the end of the day, NO team is going to sabotage a player that they believe will help them win, especially a QB. That is THE premier position in all of sports. The Browns aren't going to try and hold him back if he's ready to perform. I'm not going to sit here and say that Gabriel is better than Shadeur. However, I do think it's crazy to say he's being sabotaged.
