This shyt really is playing out like a movie. In 2018, he literally was the most talked about rapper for better or for worse. Was caught up in so much street shyt you can’t even count. And at the same time he had records charting.

Then he gets locked up, snitches on ALL his crew PUBLICLY. Then a pandemic happens, gets out early, and comes back with a vengeance. And he EMBRACES that he snitched and he thinks that his rap career will still be intact.

Gets a number 1 record and it looks promising. However the very next week it has the biggest drop off in Billboard history.

Continues to instigate beef with other rappers that aren’t “selling” like him.

But over time, the trolling stops working. Folks just start ignoring him. Platforms don’t want to interview him. Other artist don’t want to him. Drops another record and it flops.

Dropped an album the same day another prolific artist drops and damn near EVERYBODY ignores him. Streaming platforms don’t even bother to put his album in the “new release” section.

THEN when it looks like he is projected to go number 1. His LAST ditch effort of being relevant, the machine LOWERS his numbers and make sure he doesn’t sell as much as the other artists he disses :pachaha: you can’t make this up :russ:

And since the pandemic is going on he can’t tour. Hell he has to travel with security 24/7 cause he is a marked man. But over time that money is gonna run out and he can’t pay them all forever.

His family disowns him, his baby mama hates him, his old gang wants him dead, and the industry damn near want to cut ties with him.

The universe is handling Daniel Hernandez something serious.

And the show ain’t over yet...
:wow:

Not to break up the parade but just cause they don't count old streams towards his first week sales doesnt mean the old streams didn't happen. So he would still be at 150k or whatever equivalent sales overall for the project either way. It's really only a fail cause he was bragging about having the number 1 album for the week but for the year he has done great numbers for his label.

Ima be honest and this has nothing to do with 69. Just a funny observation. Its crazy how nikkas can rap about straight up killing, doing drugs and all that type of shyt but never get this type of hate. I've never seen this type of clear blackballing before. All the nikka did was snitch. Since when has everyone including the cacs that work at radio and DSPs honor street code

To be honest with you, I think the blackballing has more to do with the fact that he's a convicted pedophile. Like you said, cacs dont give a shyt about street code

From the beginning even before the snitching when everyone liked him, he went against the industry, especially mainstream radio. Of course they aren't gonna like him.

This is what happens when your song is planted on the Billboard charts instead of people actually listening to it. When people are actually listening to your music, it has sustained tangible measures for it. When your album is planted on the charts, it doesn’t truly have any legs. Songs that are legitimately heard you almost can’t get away from. They’re on the radio, people are playing them in their cars, you can hear them in the clubs, on tv used in background promos, etc. That’s not the case at all for 69’s music. Even pre-snitching, I thankfully only heard or seen his music due to the Coli and scrolling by it on twitter.

Has nothing to do with snitching or any kind of "street code". Dude was beefing with Roc Nation and Billboard.

That alone would be grounds to black ball him.

A pedo sex offender sexual assaulter, racist, troll, snitch. Nothing to respect and all the hate he gets is deserved.

I forgot what the beef was about

And wouldn't they still chart him if he still had money to pay, or they took it personal?
