Whether they win or not at WK that's another different issue though

No news yet what their plans are for both nights.

Liger is retiring so they could potentially do 1 big show as a celebration for his career, having a lot of interpromotional matches and save the other as a more New Japan focused show. But that's just me fantasy booking, who knows what they'll do.

The man has gone through so many "changes" he's gone back to his original state at this point

Gedo was fukked up promoting him as the "Fourth Musketeer" for a while in the late 00's, to think Makabe was promotes as the Third it's incredible how much things changed in that 2007-2012 span.

They haven't been able to do sell out three straight nights in Tokyo for the G-1 and they've tried it for almost half a decade now. I think selling out Sumo Hall with no card 1 week before KOPW last year made them go "fukk it" and book this shyt
