I see this being the play too, and I hate it, because right now, Naomi is the only one in the company doing something that's entertaining (well, AJ Styles too). Using her as a "means to an end" would be extremely disrespectful.

I just saw her segment with Stephanie. It's been a while since someone was this consistently entertaining every week. And they don't have any heels outside of Becky, Roxanne, and Raquel. Maybe they turn Bayley again, but they're not going to give her the title.

Naomi is refreshing for the Raw women’s division and Triple K would be foolish to strip her of the title already. If anything, I doubt they let Jade win at SS, even though they need to get the title off of Tiffany. I feel that Jade would be setup for failure because I don’t feel that the neckbeards would accept her as champion.

i like Gunther as a wrestler and all, but something about his push doesn't resonate in the main event scene ... its almost like his character is just to be a champion most of the time and there aren't more dimensions to it (not his fault more so the booking/writing)

My only issue with Jade is that when she talks, it sounds like she's reading off cue cards half the time, but she needs more of a chance to show her personality. SmackDown is definitely missing Bianca, so we'll see what happens after SummerSlam.

From what Meltzer said, she was going to get the rocket strapped to her before the injury. She was going to be champion heading into WrestleMania against Nia, and when the first trailer from WWE Unreal came out and that match was on the whiteboard, everybody was because the match didn't happen. Then the match did happen a few months ago and it was pretty good.

I don't have faith in Triple H booking Jade well, not even because of the , but because no female gets booked well once she wins the title, if she gets booked at all. The only one I can think of that had a memorable title reign since I started watching again is Nia.
