I get why WWE is going to say that if it wasn't for Hogan "there wouldn't be wrestling" but in reality it's just not true. Yes, he was the guy along with the Cyndi Lauper angle that catapulted WWE into the stratosphere into the mainstream but wrestling as a whole was hugely successful before Hogan.

Bruno was selling out MSG every week!

Dusty and Flair and them were putting asses in seats in the south like crazy!


I could go on and on...

Maybe breh, but that was very territorial. Hogan definitely took it global for those years he was an icon.

I think what I am most sad about at this point, and that Seth Rollins interview only confirmed it, is that he died as a villain....and it didn't have to be that way.

Black ppl are very forgiving, and he could've done something/anything to make amends.
