I wouldn't call it "crazy" by any stretch of the imagination.

Main reason defender lost balance and slipped was because he didn't expect a 7 footer to have basic handles like that on the perimeter. Nothing more.

Dude literally did a basic right to left crossover dribble with a jab/hesitation step thrown in. Defender didn't respect his game and bit hard.

Regardless, yeah, it's impressive. 7'1 guys should not have that kind of game.
He's seven fukking one breh. :what:

I seen this dude play in person and he is an absolute MONSTER.

Not only does he have those crazy handles, he is actually quite strong and quick on his feet. I saw him come off the baseline and do a reverse two-hand like it was NOTHING (in game). His game is extremely advanced for his age and his size and deceptive quickness... :wow: brehs there's no one in the NBA currently THAT big that can move and handle the ball like that. Not even AD.
Do you think his game is sustainable though? Or will his knees buckle.
Imagine watching a prime Thon Maker vs. Durant :damn:

Why dude 7 ft tall and 30 ft away from the basket :mjlol:

Because he weights 117 lbs, do you realize what people like Zbo and Boogie will do to him under the rim? :merchant:

Stay near that 3pt line til you put on 30-40lbs big fella....

But he doesnt look awkward handling the ball, once he puts on weight he can be a problem, until then.... :francis:

At 117, the average female will dominate him around the (kfc) bucket

Maker is solid has good potential but don't expect him to be a Durant type player.
Id take Harry Giles, Jayson Tatum, Malik Monk, Josh Jackson and DeAron Fox over him without a blink. Than there is Dennis Smith, Lonzo Ball, Jonathan Isaac and Udoka Uzubuike among others, who are at a similar level as Maker as far as prospects
