how many dudes you seen on the wing with Thon's size and ability as opposed to some kevin love shyt. Name drop. I'm legitimately curious.I came here to say this. That shyt was cool and all but Im getting tired of seeing these big ass dudes out on the wing

I seen this dude play in person and he is an absolute MONSTER.
Not only does he have those crazy handles, he is actually quite strong and quick on his feet. I saw him come off the baseline and do a reverse two-hand like it was NOTHING (in game). His game is extremely advanced for his age and his size and deceptive quickness...brehs there's no one in the NBA currently THAT big that can move and handle the ball like that. Not even AD.
Ive seen him in person too and honestly wasnt that impressed...Alot of this stuff he did at AI he wont do against elite athletes...

You need to. I've seen the kid play multiple times and the hype is real. As long as he doesn't get hurt or his knees give out (which wouldn't necessarily be a surprise considering his agility and height) he should justify the hype.

Well obviously the tapes are highlights lol... your tapes aren't supposed to match your actual game. A lot of the people negatively criticizing his game are doing it from the perspective of expecting him to be Kevin Durant RIGHT NOW or some shyt; at the level he's at, he's the truth. Assuming he improves at the same level everyone else does, when he gets to college, he'll be the truth, and when he gets to the league, he'll be the truth. Bio Steel All star game in April...basically Canadas version of the nike game...C and D level prospects and he was AWFUL...
He was missing everything,was afraid to go in the paint,was getting knocked around by PGs for rebounds...
I guarantee thats the game ALOT of people were talking about..same game Jamal Murray won MVP...
He stunk it up,he missed shots,took alot of bad shots...was getting bodied by guys half his size in the paint...he was invisible for much of the game...
Word. That was 3 months ago. There was a lot of funk around him as it seemed like he was playing some of his worst ball in the last year. However he's been killing shyt this whole summer

Who's to say he can't develop a low post game? He's what, 18 now? I don't think he will be a dominant force on the low block but this dude is too big and plays aggressive enough that he could develop a back to the basket game with turn around hook shots and up and under moves. Dude is TOO big and too quick not to. Some coach in the league gonna get him down low.
It displayed some of the things i hate about big men in 2015....I hate 7 footers who are allergic of the post....
He loves to dribble and shoot mid range...Id rather have my guards doing that...
I understand he has ball skills and can utilize some matchups but he definitely is afraid of going inside and that has to change with some added body weight...
I aint buying the hype from what ive seen...
