And ppl routinely get together and ppl DO get shot or fight. Whats your point? Mine is that its a nonconstructive gathering. Something black folks can ill afford to do ROUTINELY given our current state and our past history.
Yes, age does make a HUGE difference. Good pointYou all do recognize that is downright silly. I'm willing to meet you at a say Black people a certain AGE probably shouldn't gather. But I refuse to believe Black people 30+ are gonna routinely engage in fighting and shootouts.

We tried to have an all Black Juneteeth event yesterday with no drama and fights still popped off
Before fight
Everyone coming back from fight
One of the organizers of the event is pissed and at the point of saying "fukk it"

Why do we continue to kill each other? I feel that using our economic standing as an excuse is a complete cop out. I hate that excuse just as much as the one about subjects in school being culturally biased.
This is why I am a huge supporter of ostracism. All it takes is for a few c00ns to ruin an event enjoyed by mostly peaceful, fun having black folk. Members of our community who engage in these kinds of acts and who put innocent life in jeapardy need to be punished in a harsh way. I'm talking old school vigilante justice. We can't afford to have a few c00ns terrorize the community to the point our most vulnerables members are in danger.
I feel that every conscious and dignified black man has the moral obligation to protect his community from enemies inside and outside.
Much respect to the Detroit 300 and Shabazz for doing what black men should have been doing all along.
I hope the sellouts who perpetrated this act of indiscriminate violence are brought to justice and the subsequently ousted from the community. Yet the latter is wishful thinking
uhhhh no. just because you think it's an "ecuse" doesnt make it any less true
crime is directly related to economic status. poor people are much more likely to commit crimes because they are financially desperate and arent afforded many economic opportunities. economic based crime is very real, especially in the black community
